Φανερά ενθουσιασμένη και γεμάτοι ενέργεια η ομάδα του Dub Relief συνεχίζει πιστά στο ίδιο πλάνο με το 2023 παραμένοντας υπό τη στέγη του ιδιαιτέρως φιλόξενου χώρου του Ilion Plus στην Κυψέλη για μια βραδιά προσανατολισμένη στη Reggae – Dub Soundsystem κουλτούρα

PRINCE JAMO (UK)
Ο Prince Jamo, τραγουδιστής, στιχουργός, performer, αυτοδίδακτος μουσικός και ιδιοκτήτης label, γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Μπέρμιγχαμ του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Εμπνευσμένος από την ηλικία που άρχισε να είναι conscious, η μουσική ήταν πάντα σημαντικό κομμάτι της ζωής του.
Σε πολύ νεαρή ηλικία, πήρε το πρώτο του όργανο και αυτοδίδακτα έμαθε να παίζει παράλληλα με δίσκους που αγόραζαν τα αδέλφια του, ενώ νωρίς στην εφηβεία του άρχισε να αγοράζει και να συλλέγει βινύλια, καθώς και να παρακολουθεί συναυλίες τακτικά.
Στα 17 του χρόνια ήταν ένα από τα τρία ιδρυτικά μέλη του συγκροτήματος RNT Ruffneck Trilogy, που σχηματίστηκε το 1989 μαζί με τους Bonzo B και King Stanley. Δύο ακόμη μέλη, οι Digga (Scotty) Ranks και Ceefax, μπήκαν το 1992 και ξεκίνησαν την μουσική τους διαδρομή υποστηρίζοντας διάφορους διεθνείς καλλιτέχνες, όπως τους Israel Vibrations και τους Mighty Diamonds, σχολιάζοντας τακτικά για την υπογραφή τους με τις London Records και Sony Publishing το 1996.
Μετά την ολοκλήρωση αυτής της σπουδαίας μουσικής εμπειρίας, επέστρεψε στο Μπέρμιγχαμ, όπου το 2003 ιδρύθηκε το Blackrose Projects. Ξεκίνησε μια σόλο καριέρα και συνέχισε να παράγει μουσική για τις πρώτες σόλο κυκλοφορίες του από το 2010 μέχρι και σήμερα. Ταυτόχρονα συνέχισε να κυκλοφορεί μέσω διαφόρων δισκογραφικών εταιρειών, να συνεργάζεται με διεθνή Sound Systems από όλο τον κόσμο, να συμμετέχει και να υποστηρίζει τους υψηλότερα εκτιμώμενους στη βιομηχανία της Reggae και να κάνει πολλές συνεργασίες με σπουδαίους καλλιτέχνες και παραγωγούς στη διεθνή σκηνή, αλλά και να παρευρίσκεται Sound System meetings.
Τώρα είναι μέλος του ONE NATION Sound System, ενός ολοκαίνουργιου sound από το Μπέρμιγχαμ, και ετοιμάζεται για πολλές μελλοντικές κυκλοφορίες μέσω της δικής του δισκογραφικής εταιρείας, καθώς το BLACKROSE μεγαλώνει.

𝗗𝗨𝗕 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗙 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠
Το Dub Relief δημιουργήθηκε το καλοκαίρι του 2018 στην Αθήνα με στόχο τη διάδοση της roots reggae-dub μουσικής στην πόλη. Ήδη από τους πρώτους μήνες του 2019 η ομάδα είχε επηρεαστεί φανερά από την Soundsystem κουλτούρα και ξεκίνησε το ταξίδι για την υλοποίηση ενός χειροποίητου Mini Soundsystem, το οποίο και έγινε πραγματικότητα τον Νοέμβριο του 2019. Η συνέχεια του ταξιδιού αυτού, μας έκανε να υλοποιήσουμε το μεγάλο μας όνειρο, την δημιουργία του Πρώτου Tower τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2021. Φτάνοντας αισίως στο 2024, το Dub Relief Soundsystem είναι το πρώτο ηχοσύστημα στην Ελλάδα το οποίο δοκίμασε και εφάρμοσε την τεχνολογία των 18” Paraflex Subs. Μέσα σε αυτήν την πορεία το Dub Relief έχει συμμετάσχει και συνδιοργανωσει βραδιές με τα περισσότερα ηχοσυστήματα στην Ελλάδα και έχει διοργανώσει events με σπουδαία ονόματα της Reggae - Dub Soundsystem σκηνής, όπως είναι ο Ras Lion (Lion’s Den Soundsystem), ο Wassie One, ο Jonah Dan μαζί με τον Junior Dread και το Moa Anbessa crew από την Ιταλία.
Από τότε μέχρι και σήμερα η ομάδα προσπαθεί να επικοινωνήσει τα σημαντικότερα μηνύματα της reggae μουσικής όπως είναι η ειρήνη, η αγάπη και η ενότητα, διαδίδοντας τα πάντα μέσω του Soundsystem Culture.

PRINCE JAMO (UK)
Singer, Songwriter, Performer, Self-taught Musician and Label owner, Prince Jamo was born and grew up in Birmingham in the UK. Inspired from the age he was aware and conscious, music has always played an important part of his life.
When very young he picked up the first instrument and taught himself to play along with records his brother and sisters bought, while early in his teens started buying and collecting vinyl and also going to concerts regularly.
17 years old he was one of three founder members of RNT Ruffneck Trilogy band, formed 1989 along with Bonzo B and King Stanley. Two more members Digga (Scotty) Ranks & Ceefax joined in 1992 and they hit the musical road supporting various International artists such as Israel Vibrations & Mighty Diamonds, commenting regularly to London on becoming signed to London Records and Sony Publishing in 1996.
After the conclusion of that great musical experience he relocated back to Birmingham, where in 2003 Blackrose Projects was created. He went onto embark on a solo career and continued producing music for his first solo releases in 2010 until present continuing to release through a variety of labels, performing with international Sounds Systems from across the world, performing with and supporting the highest regard in Reggae industry and many collaborations with a many great artist and producers on International stages and Sound System meetings.
Now a member of the ONE NATION Sound System, a brand new sound from Birmingham UK, and set for many future releases on his own Label the BLACKROSE grows form strength to strength.

Dub Relief was created in Athens, in the summer of 2018 with the aim of spreading roots reggae-dub music in the city. Early in 2019, the crew had already been influenced by Soundsystem culture and set off on the journey of building a handmade Mini Soundsystem, which was completed in November of 2019. The continuation of this journey, made us accomplish our big dream, the creation of our First Tower in September of 2021. Approaching 2024, Dub Relief Soundsystem is the first soundsystem in Greece that tested and applied the technology of 18" Paraflex Subs. During this time Dub Relief has participated and co-organized sessions with many soundsystems in Greece and has organized events with great names of the Reggae - Dub Soundsystem scene, such as Ras Lion (Lion's Den Soundsystem), Wassie One, Jonah Dan & Junior Dread and the mighty crew of Moa Anbessa from Italy.
From way back then until today the crew seeks to communicate the most crucial messages of reggae music such as peace, love and unity, spreading them steadily through Soundsystem Culture.
