PRF Panorama II. Treating Face and Body

Natural Facial Esthetics using Platelet Rich Fibrin

Facial esthetics has become one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. As the field continues to evolve and patients demand more and more of practitioners, it is clear that both the beginner as well as the advanced practitioner seek convenient, safe, and effective therapies. This 3 day course with hands-on will discuss the 100% all natural approach to facial esthetics using platelet rich fibrin. PRF has been used for decades in regenerative dentistry and medicine, and has slowly made its way into the facial esthetic arena, often used in combination with other leading all natural therapies such as lasers to support minimally invasive esthetic procedures. One main discovery has been the ability to extend the resorption properties of PRF from 2-3 weeks to 4-6 months utilizing the Bio-Heat Technology. Within 10 minutes, liquid-PRF can be transformed towards a biological filler (Bio-Filler) that lasts half a year. This approach favors additional collagen synthesis and stimulation of soft tissue regeneration utilizing 100% natural approaches. First, education of performing micro-needling with PRF (The “Vampire” facial) will be taught with hands-on participation. Thereafter, facial injections with PRF will be covered for fine lines and wrinkles. Lastly, the step-by-step protocol to create BioFillers will be taught with basic injection techniques covered. This course will begin by introducing the scientific background and advancements to PRF therapy. Thereafter, it will highlight how to perform a variety of clinical cases with the aim of maximizing revenue by entering this multi-billion dollars industry.

Highlights

-       Benefits of combining PRF in facial esthetics

Day 1 Friday May 9th - Airotel Stratos Vasilikos Hotel - 114 Michalakopoulou str, 11527, Athens

09:00-16:30 Dr. Richard Miron :

Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) has been widely utilized in regenerative medicine and dentistry primarily owing to its ability to favor wound healing. This full day aims to highlight the recent advancements made with respect to the newest formulations of platelet concentrates and systematically presents when, where and why specific platelet concentrates may be utilized to further speed wound healing and tissue regeneration for various clinical indications faced in routine daily medical and dental practice. From the lead Editor of Quintessence’s 2021 best-selling textbook titled: “Understanding Platelet Rich Fibrin”, Dr. Richard Miron discusses a variety of methods to improve PRF in routine daily practice.

Objectives

  • Provide the biological background and scientific rationale for why platelet concentrates speed wound healing

  • Introduce new protocols using horizontal centrifugation

  • Provide clinical indications when, where and why to use PRF (membranes and liquid) in regenerative dentistry and facial esthetics

  • Learn how to transform PRF membranes from 2 weeks resorption properties to 4 months

  • Launch of the Bio-Cool technology

  • Importance of PRF tubes for the fabrication of PRF
